Rachel Finch Sulka is a licensed psychotherapist who has been working in the field since 2008. Drawing from evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, Rachel aims to foster a safe and nurturing environment in which her clients can do the important growth work that they are pursuing.
Some areas that Rachel is especially skilled in addressing include: anxiety disorders, young adult issues, times of transition, identity exploration, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Rachel also specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. She has extensive experience helping those who suffer with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and compulsive exercise. She served as Program Director of La Ventana Treatment Programs Santa Barbara for 4 years where she developed and ran the outpatient and residential programs. She also served as Clinical Director of Recovery Road Eating Disorder Programs. Rachel has vast experience working at all levels of care from inpatient to residential to outpatient care.
Rachel completed her undergraduate work, a B.S. in kinesiology, from Westmont College and her graduate studies, an M.S. MFT, from Fuller Theological Seminary.
